Meet the Doctor
Dr. Bond Thomas is a licensed Chiropractor serving the St. Petersburg community.
Dr. Bond Thomas has been freeing people from pain in the clinic in St. Petersburg, FL. As a Chiropractor with experience, Dr. Thomas is committed to promoting optimal health and well being of patients.
Dr. Thomas uses a "whole person approach". This approach to wellness means looking for underlying causes of any disturbance or disruption (which may or may not be causing symptoms at the time) and make whatever interventions and lifestyle adjustments that would optimize the conditions for normal function. Using this unique approach, Dr. Thomas is able to help you to accelerate and/or maintain your journey to good health.
Bond
completed his undergraduate degree in Business from Mercer University in Macon,
Georgia before beginning his pre-chiropractic courses at Life University School
of Chiropractic. After completing his studies, he was accepted into the Chiropractic
School at Life University. During his four years at Life, courses including biochemistry,
a major emphasis on anatomy and human physiology, x-ray, diagnosis,
chiropractic adjusting techniques and patient care in the Life University
Public Clinic. After graduating in 1997, Bond entered a six month internship program
in St. Augustine, Florida before returning to his hometown of St. Petersburg,
Florida where he has been in practice for the past 12 years. Bond Thomas Chiropractic
exists to deliver chiropractic care with excellence resulting in increased
health, awareness and quality of life for our patients.
Dr.
Bond Thomas is a fourth generation native of St. Petersburg. His grandfather
moved to St. Petersburg in the 1920s where they established the Bond family
hotels. Bond grew up working in the family hotels and he attributes his
practice’s customer-centered philosophy to those years. Bond was educated at
Shorecrest Preparatory School from kindergarten to twelfth grade.
Dr. Bond is married to Carla, a busy mother and physical therapist, and a proud father to Catelyn Grace (Cate), 4, and most recently to a baby boy in October 2009, Bond Keller.
When
he is not practicing, Bond enjoys spending time with family at home, tennis,
running, swimming, biking, reading, cooking and live music.
Bond has been a member of the Rotary Club of St. Petersburg since 2002, and is very active in Bible Study Fellowship and First Baptist Church of St. Petersburg.
